The Ultrasonic Testing Level I Certification Course is designed for individuals seeking to build a strong foundation in ultrasonic inspection techniques used across a variety of industries, including aerospace, pipelines, shipbuilding, and power generation.
This course introduces the core principles of ultrasonic testing and provides hands-on experience with industry-standard flaw detectors and calibration equipment.
Participants will gain practical skills in straight-beam and angle-beam techniques, learn to calibrate instruments, and apply flaw sizing methods to evaluate welds and other critical components.
Through real-world test scenarios and guided instruction, students will develop the ability to interpret ultrasonic data, detect internal discontinuities, and ensure the integrity of materials and structures.
This training meets the requirements of ASNT SNT-TC-1A, CP-189, and NAS-410, preparing participants for certification and successful application of ultrasonic testing in the field.

Ultrasonic Testing—Level II, 40 hours
The Ultrasonic Testing Level II Certification Course is designed for technicians looking to expand their knowledge and proficiency in advanced ultrasonic inspection techniques for critical components and structures.
Building on Level I fundamentals, this course deepens participants’ understanding of straight-beam and angle-beam methods, with a focus on advanced calibration, flaw characterization, and data evaluation for weld inspections and structural assessments.
Students will engage in hands-on training with ultrasonic flaw detectors, calibration blocks, and industry-relevant test samples—developing the skills needed to detect, size, and classify internal flaws in metals, composites, and welds.
Through practical exercises and expert instruction, participants will refine their ability to interpret ultrasonic signals, perform accurate flaw analysis, and document findings in accordance with industry standards.
This course meets the training requirements of ASNT SNT-TC-1A, CP-189, and NAS-410, and is recommended for individuals who have completed UT Level I and are pursuing Level II certification.
