The Teledyne FLIR SUGV 325 combines tracked mobility with HD visible, LWIR, and stitched 360-degree cameras. Operators can use these onboard sensors to observe the robot’s surroundings from a remote position, while white and near-infrared illumination support visibility under different lighting conditions.
The SUGV 325 uses articulating flippers and a tracked chassis to move across uneven terrain, negotiate vertical obstacles up to 12 inches (30.5 centimeters), and climb stairs with inclines up to 45 degrees.
It can also make zero-radius turns, allowing it to change direction within a limited footprint. Its documented slope capabilities include angles up to 45 degrees vertically and 30 degrees laterally, while its maximum travel speed is 7 mph (11.3 kph).
At about 20 pounds (9.1 kilograms), the SUGV 325 can be carried and deployed by one person. Its compact form helps teams move the robot between inspection locations without the logistics required for a larger robotic platform.
Its IP67 rating and operating temperature range of -4°F to 122°F (-20°C to 50°C) support deployment across a range of field conditions.
