MFE Inspection Solutions Featured on WGN9 News

Chicago, IL, November 9, 2021—WGN9 News featured Michael Vanovermeir, MFE’s Unmanned Ground Robotics Product Line Manager, to learn about real-life uses for Boston Dynamics high-tech robot, Spot.

The reporters traveled to the MFE Inspection Solutions New Lenox Training Facility to see Spot in action and the latest cutting-edge technologies MFE has to offer.

Mike showed different features of Spot and even let WGN9 reporters take the controls and walk Spot around the facility.

A few notable features that stood out to the WGN9 reporters were Spot’s ability to stop from being tipped or knocked over and its ability to walk over all kinds of obstacles, including up and down stairs.
