From Racetrack to Factory Floor: MFE Joins The Sound of Success Event

Houston, TX, October 13, 2026—Industrial maintenance meets professional racing at The Sound of Success in Austin, Texas, on October 21, where MFE will join Sorama, Boston Dynamics, and MP Motorsport for live inspection demonstrations. The event brings maintenance, reliability, and operations leaders together to see how acoustic imaging helps uncover mechanical problems on the racetrack—and the factory floor.

A bearing may be one of the smallest and least expensive parts of a machine, but its failure can stop an entire production line. In a race car, a minor mechanical fault can compromise performance or even end a race. In both settings, early detection gives maintenance teams time to act—a shared challenge The Sound of Success will address through acoustic imaging demonstrations.

Attendees can take part in live demonstrations and technical discussions focused on how acoustic imaging helps locate leaks and mechanical problems. Additional hands-on workshops will take place during race weekend at MP Motorsport’s pit box. MFE will provide a Boston Dynamics Spot robot equipped with Sorama’s L642 fixed acoustic imaging system for demonstrations led by Boston Dynamics. Sorama will demonstrate industrial inspection applications, and MP Motorsport will share how a professional racing team approaches reliability, engineering decisions, and performance-critical issues in professional racing.
