The OmniScan X4 is a portable, multi-technology flaw detector designed for fast and accurate inspection of welds and components.

The X4 features advanced ultrasonic testing techniques, including phased array ultrasonic testing (PAUT), total focusing method (TFM), phase coherence imaging (PCI), and plane wave imaging (PWI), all integrated into a single device.

With intuitive application presets for faster setups, a merged B-scan view for efficient flaw identification, and built-in twin TFM and PCI enabling simultaneous dual-sided weld inspections, the OmniScan X4 excels at detecting challenging flaws, assessing corrosion, and inspecting complex geometries.

By using two probes to scan welds from both sides simultaneously, the device generates side-by-side results in a single pass, enabling seamless comparison, measurement, and confirmation of indications with precision and efficiency.

When paired with scanners like HydroFORM™, RollerFORM™, and FlexoFORM™, the presets enable even new users to quickly achieve optimal inspection parameters. With customizable settings, the OmniScan X4 lets inspectors focus more on the inspection process and less on setup, delivering faster and more reliable results.

High-Speed Data Processing and Storage for Maximum Efficiency

The OmniScan X4 is engineered to handle large-scale inspections with ease, thanks to its high-speed processor, expanded RAM, and robust data storage capabilities.

Its 1 TB solid-state drive (SSD) allows for uninterrupted scanning of larger parts without pausing to transfer data, boosting productivity during extensive inspections.

The rapid data processing ensures near-instantaneous responsiveness, even when analyzing high volumes of information.

With features like true orientation correction for raster scan passes, inspectors can quickly generate accurate, easy-to-understand visuals that streamline reporting and analysis.
