MFE Offshore Home / Wendy Post: Offshore & Subsea Inspection Industry Leader
Article
Wendy Post brings more than 25 years of hands-on experience in offshore and subsea operations to her role as General Manager of MFE Offshore.
Throughout her career, Wendy has worked at the intersection of offshore operations, hydrography, and marine technology, building a reputation as a trusted leader within the offshore inspection and maritime community.
“Offshore personnel don’t have the luxury of trial and error. Harsh environments, limited access, and tight inspection windows mean everything has to work the first time. MFE Offshore was built to support those realities—helping operators find inspection tools designed for offshore use, training teams to deploy them correctly, and staying engaged long after the equipment arrives.”
— Wendy Post, General Manager, MFE Offshore
Wendy’s background spans both operational and leadership roles, giving her a deep understanding of the real-world constraints offshore teams face—from harsh environmental conditions and complex logistics to tight inspection windows where reliability is critical. This perspective directly informs how MFE Offshore supports its customers, with a focus on selecting the right inspection technology, ensuring teams are properly trained, and helping operators deploy solutions that work the first time.
In addition to her operational experience, Wendy has played an active role in industry leadership and governance. She spent 14 years serving on boards within the hydrographic and marine technology community, including long-term involvement with the Hydrographic Society of America. During her tenure, Wendy helped found and establish the Southeast Chapter of the Hydrographic Society, helping expand the organization’s regional presence and engagement. She also served in leadership roles at both the chapter and national levels, contributing to industry standards, professional development, and collaboration across the offshore and hydrographic sectors.
During her tenure, she was deeply involved in national leadership and governance and came within two votes of becoming national chair.
Wendy’s leadership has been widely recognized by peers across the offshore industry, reflecting both her technical expertise and her commitment to advancing best practices in marine and offshore operations. Her experience bridging technology, operations, and governance makes her uniquely positioned to lead MFE Offshore as it supports offshore oil & gas, offshore wind, and maritime operators worldwide.
At MFE Offshore, Wendy leads a consultative, customer-first approach, working closely with operators to understand their inspection challenges, identify fit-for-purpose technologies, and remain engaged well beyond deployment to ensure long-term success in the field.
