MFE Inspection Solutions Launches MFE PulsePro, a New Pulsed Eddy Current (PEC) System for Shutdown-Free CUI Screening<\/h1>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Houston, TX, February 12, 2026\u2014Today, MFE announces the launch of the MFE PulsePro<\/a>, a new pulsed eddy current (PEC<\/a>) inspection system built to perform fast screening for corrosion under insulation (CUI). Designed to work without requiring any shutdown time, the MFE PulsePro helps inspection teams evaluate asset condition without removing insulation, halting operations, performing surface prep, or using couplant.<\/p>

\u201cCUI is one of the most expensive problems faced by oil and gas and other heavy industries,\u201d said Dylan Duke, CEO of MFE Inspection Solutions. \u201cTeams need answers fast, without costly shutdowns. And that\u2019s just what the PulsePro gives you: fast, actionable data, without having to remove insulation or halt operations.\u201d<\/p>

Traditional CUI<\/a> inspections often require insulation removal, access planning, and prolonged shutdowns, especially when teams are trying to screen large areas. While waiting for planned outages, corrosion and wall thinning continue to develop, allowing time for the problem and associated maintenance costs to grow worse.<\/p>

The PulsePro was built to solve this problem, enabling rapid, in-service pre-assessment on insulated piping, vessels, tanks, and structural components, including in high-temperature environments where downtime and rework are costly. It can take readings on stainless steel, has an EMAT probe for easy handoff and data confirmation, and no subscription is required to purchase and use it.<\/p>
